Hello, my name is Franck !

Canberra · Member since March 2013
I arrived in Canberra last year with my Australian wife and two young sons. I have embraced my new life in Australia with enthusiasm and have appreciated a very warm welcome. I enjoy the multi-cultural aspect of Australian society that includes a variety of dishes from around the world. I enjoy the quality of life, parks, ocean and ski only 2 and a half hours from Canberra. I am also very attached to my French culture and will be happy to discuss 'France and Australia' around a traditional French meal. All nationalities are welcome.

Franck is a king of mussels. His choice of white wines was appropriate and very good. The home made ile flottante was also marvelous.
We will definitely come back for another 'moule' experience or another meal of his choice!!

I didn't really know what to expect for a Prehistoric dinner!
What a suprise. La grande classe!
We had a fabulous meal and met really nice people around the table.
I will definitely book another diner again.
Thank you

Franck's entree ' Mussels in a saffron sauce' was outstanding, really at the standards of a top restaurant. I predict that this dish will become a classic and that people will queue to taste it!
Franck is so good at creating a friendly and informal atmosphere and at sharing his passion for French good food!
I have to say it again: his mussels are to die for! :-)

Big thank you to Franck for his wonderful cooking. Did not give a 10 for the food, so that he strives to do even better for next time (if at all possible). There's nothing like great food with great company (all the guests got along very well, what a pleasant surprise!). Finally a good place in Canberra where you can eat great food without breaking your wallet!
June 2013 - Prehistoric dinner!

On an autumn day in Canberra the sunlight flooded into Franc’s apartment where we had a leisurely and elegant lunch with newfound girlfriends. Franc is a charming host and spoiled us with fine French Champagne and hors d’oeuvres, followed by delicious Boeuf Bourguignon, matched perfectly with a luscious French red and lovely fresh tomato salad. The dessert was the most gorgeous poached pear I have ever had and perfectly finished the meal.

I heard about this concept two days before arriving in Canberra for a three day golf stay, with three other ladies. We decided to book a dinner through Voulez-Vous Diner, something none of us have experienced before. Now I must say it was a really good choice! We had a most enjoyable evening with host Franck and a truly delicious meal, prepared and presented to perfection in his home.

We were made to feel welcome as if we were invited to share a meal at home with good friends, and enjoy food the quality equal to the very best of restaurants!
