1. What are the benefits of booking through VoulezVousDîner.com?

When you book a dinner at www.voulezvousdiner.com, you are sure to be greeted by hosts selected for their sense of hospitality, around a quality meal, prepared exclusively with fresh products (see our Quality Charter). With VoulezVousDiner, you can choose your dinner and hosts based on a number of criteria. It’s a way to share cultural perspectives, anecdotes and common interests (hobbies, sports, travel, professional activities, etc.) around a menu. It’s an opportunity to discover a new way of life, immerse yourself in a local culture and establish new friendly contacts.

2. How does the online booking system work?

It is very simple. Click on the dinner of your choice. Select the number of guests and book your dinner directly by clicking on the “Book this dinner” button.

You will be redirected to the payment page of your dinner with a summary of your order. Enter your credit card details and confirm your prepayment. The payment will be effective only after validation of your reservation request by the host. You will then receive a confirmation email. Once the booking has been made, you will receive the specific details of the dinner (address and telephone) by email and/or SMS text message.

3. Is the connection between hosts and guests charged?

Registration to the site VoulezVousDiner is totally free. When you book a dinner, we include a reservation fee directly in the price of the dinner. There is no surprise.

4. How is my personal data processed? Is it visible to all?

VoulezVousDiner strictly enforces French law #78-17 of January 6th, 1978 relating to data, files and freedoms, as well as the ethical principles deriving therefrom. Your personal information is protected by our commitment to the CNIL. Only you can access it, using your username and password.

5. How much does a meal cost me?

The host sets the price of the dinner. The retail price of a dinner is directly displayed in the dinner’s presentation page.

6. When do I pay?

You pay your meal by credit card when booking your dinner on the website. The amount will be charged once you have received a confirmation by email from your host. We accept the following credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, American Express. If your booking is cancelled, VoulezVousDiner issues a full refund to your credit card.

7. Is the online payment secure?

The payment partner selected by VoulezVousDiner is certified by PCI, the world standard that ensures compliance of the payment platforms with the strictest regulations on security and data protection. Once the payment is validated, all payment data is destroyed. This is why you are requested to enter your confidential banking information each time you book.

8. How can I be sure that my booking has been taken into account?

Once your booking is confirmed, you will automatically receive an email. You can also contact us at contact@voulezvousdiner.com in case of problems.

9. How do I cancel or change a reservation?

You may cancel your reservation without charge up to 48 hours before the dinnertime, by clicking on the link provided in the e-mail confirmation of your booking.

If you cancel within 48 hours of dinnertime, no refund will be granted. Hosts need to plan ahead for shopping and preparing each dinner. They cannot easily compensate the cancellation of your reservation. Hosts will then be paid the price asked for the dinner.

10. Can I leave a comment or complaint regarding a host?

After each dinner, VoulezvousDiner automatically sends you a link via email to write a review. You can then leave a feedback about your host, the food, the welcome or the place.
